CLICK ON OUR WINTER POETS
The Poem Factory in its second season, happy to introduce you to the poems of the Winter Poets. It is my pleasure to present them and their fine poems for your reading enjoyment. This winter season we are featuring Mary Barnet, Anthony Buccino, Robert Ciccolini, David Fisher, Daniel Gallik, Elena Galperin, Anthony Hwilka, Josephine Lissandrello, and Elizabeth Marchitti.
SUBMIT POEMS FOR PUBLICATION
I hope you will submit up to five of your own poems but keep the number of lines under 24. If you submit published poems, include the name of the publication, the date of the issue, and if applicable, the page number. Please do not send poems with objectionable language. And, of course, send a very brief bio of yourself that we can include in the bio section of the winter issue. In the subject line of your e-mail, type THE POEM FACTORY, and e-mail to Sal Amico M. Buttaci at sambpoet@yahoo.com.
CLICK ON OUR AUTUMN POETS
For its autumn selection, The Poem Factory is proud to include several poets definitely worth reading: Anthony Buccino, Robert Ciccolini, Elena Galperin, Anthony Hwilka, Carrie Kinyon, Josephine Lissandrello, Betty Marchitti, and Ed Smith. Why not give yourself a treat and read their work. In fact, why not submit some of your own poems for consideration! Autumn is still young...
At a time when the world occupies itself with warfare and the fear of terrorism, it does the heart good to sit and read or write a poem. It will not solve the problems of society; poetry does not boast that kind of power. Still, it can bring us some degree of peace if we allow it. And we should. There is nothing like a poem to release tension and relax the mind.
My hope is that you will enjoy reading the poems posted at The Poem Factory, and that you might even submit up to three of your own poems to me at sambpoet@yahoo.com . Perhaps I may include them here, copyrighted in your name, of course. The only restriction I place on your submitted poems is that they be not be obscene or sacrilegious. Send only unpublished, original poems; in other words, poems you yourself wrote that were not previously published elsewhere.
Let me hear from you!
